Merab Dvalishvili Big opportunity

Merab Dvalishvili dominant performance against Gustavo Lopez continued his four fight winning streak, Now looking to make his winning streak to five by defeating former UFC Flyweight Title challenger John Dodson.

Big opportunity for Merab to show his best against Dodson on the UFC 252 Main Card. Impressive performance can lead to fighting top ten UFC Bantamweights.

“I’ve got to win first, but we are closely ranked. We should fight, why not? Sean O’Malley, he never fought top 15 guys, so now I think is the time,” suggested Dvalishvili. “Hopefully this fight can happen, but I have to win first, and I wish him the best of luck in his fight. Marlon Vera is not an easy fighter.”

Possible we see Merab fight Sean O ‘Malley next but he needs to defeat John Dodson next which is no easy task to anyone. However a dominant win, Sean O’ Malley will be interested in fighting Merab.

Basically a make or break fight for Merab to show what he’s truly made of.

“He has much more experience than me,” Dvalishvili said. “He’s been in the UFC (for a) long time, he has the win against T.J. Dillashaw, he has wins against Pedro Munhoz and he’s an ‘Ultimate Fighter’ champion. He’s hard fight for everyone. He’s the biggest test for me.”

Betting lines predict Merab to win the fight and they’re right because I believe so as well because he’s a Georgian savage, Trains at Serra Longo with Aljamain Sterling, Al Iaquinta, Chris Weidman.

From the training, To his talents and grit Merab will get the win tonight. Big opportunity, Life changing fight.

Jiří Procházka UFC 251 Fighter To Watch!!

Jiri Prochazka UFC hottest free agent signing is making UFC debut tonight. Exciting news as a MMA fan that Jiri got signed by the UFC because Jiri before UFC was one of the best Light Heavyweights in the world.

Rizin Light Heavyweight Champion, Defeating Muhammad Lawal, Fabio Maldonado, C.B Dollaway, Satoshi Ishii, Vadim Nemkov in his Rizin career. Wins against former UFC fighters and Bellator prospect Vadim Nemkov.

Jiri Prochazka tonight fighting on the featuring prelim of UFC 251, Most viewers besides the hardcore’s have no clue who he is but a 1st or 2nd round knockout can impress the casuals.

Looking forward to his debut tonight and his UFC future.

POST UFC 250 Fights to Schedule 2020 & 2021

UFC 251 is stacked with Usman vs Burns, Yan vs Aldo and Volkanovski vs Holloway. However there’s dream matchups that await in 2020 and 2021. Headlining UFC Events.

Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington

Leon Edwards is getting screwed in all of this. Fight that was suppose to happen is fighting Tyron Woodley in London but coronavirus prevented it. Leon Edwards wants top five opponents only.

Perfect opponent to be truly tested is against Colby “Chaos” Covington the villain of the UFC. Leon Edwards can build his brand off of Colby. In addition to showing he’s a potential UFC Welterweight Champion.

Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington would be a fun five round fight to watch. Interesting to watch.

Dominick Reyes vs Jon Jones

Completely understand that Jon Jones is desiring that fight with Francis Ngannou but if that fight doesn’t happen…

Dominick Reyes vs Jon Jones should be next fight. I truly believe that Reyes won 3-2. Controversial fight and the controversial fight can end this fall.

Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa

Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa is the UFC Middleweight Title Fight that MUST happen now since Paulo Costa is healthy.

Costa will pressure Adesanya. Costa defeated Yoel Romero in a great fight that put Paulo Costa on notice.

Israel Adesanya is the next star of the UFC. Building his legacy by fighting the next Face of Brazil MMA Paulo Costa.

Shevchenko vs Zhang

Dream fight for the women’s division is Valentina Shevchenko vs Weill Zhang.

Valentina Shevchenko is gonna murder the Flyweight Division. After the murdering can fight Weili Zhang.

Two of the best female fighters on the planet. Shevchenko challenging for the UFC Strawweight Title.

Covington vs Masvidal

Masvidal not getting the fight with Usman. Since that fight isn’t happening. Next option is Covington vs Masvidal.

The build up of the fight will be absolutely hysterical, Addition to the fight itself.

Volkanovski vs Cejudo

One of the main reasons Henry Cejudo retired is pay. Talked about the low pay in his fights with Brendan Schaub that wasn’t on video.

The only fight that will make Cejudo return is challenging for the UFC Featherweight Title. Fighting Alexander Volkanovski. Set this fight up!!

Moraes vs Garbrandt

Cody Garbrandt looked like the Cody of old but the Cody of new with his cross training with Ricardo Almeida & Mark Henry.

Garbrandt vs Marlon Moraes is the next fight to make. Contender fight for the UFC Bantamweight Title. Next in line after Sterling.

Garbrandt vs TJ Dillashaw

I understand Cody Garbrandt lost twice to TJ but because of the rebirth in Cody I’d love see a trilogy fight with TJ Dillashaw.

Dillashaw returns in January. Give Dillashaw one fight than have him fight his rival Cody Garbrandt. Showing no love to each other

Ferguson vs McGregor

Tony Ferguson already training because he’s a different kind of human being. Called out McNuggets in the past and now it’s the time to have that fight.

Conor Mcgregor and Tony Ferguson #1 Contender Fight for the Lightweight Division.

Sandman Sandhagen UFC 251 OPPORTUNITY to Shine

Cory “Sandman” Sandhagen is one of my favorite fighters on the UFC roster. Bantamweight rising star and future Bantamweight Champion, Can challenge for the UFC Bantamweight title in his next fight against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 251.

Opportunity to shine, Spotlight on them as MMA fans like myself are excited for Sandhagen vs Sterling. Fight of the night potential and performance of the night for the Sandman.

I think the way I fight, and my style, and all of the factors I bring with my style — how exciting it is — it’s going to be hard for people and the UFC to watch and be like, “That guy shouldn’t get a title shot.” That’s what I’m hoping for after this fight, is if I go out and do what I know I’m capable of doing, it’s not going to be about me going out and convincing anyone anymore. They’re going to be on board with it after I do my thing on Saturday. I just need to do my thing.

Sandhagen even though he capable of defeating Sterling is not disrespecting him because Aljamain Sterling is great fighter who can become a Bantamweight Champion as well.

Despite looking ahead and being confident in getting a title shot with an impressive showing against Sterling, Sandhagen knows it won’t be a walk in the park Saturday. In fact, “The Sandman” doesn’t have a clue how things will play out against Sterling given his awkward style.

Impressive win or back and forth fight with Sterling will gain Sandhagen new fans from people who normally don’t watch a UFC event but because of no sports. Sandhagen can make the most of it.

Sandhagen vs Sterling is the Co-Main Event for UFC 250. Opportunity to become UFC 251 Star of the Night and become the next bantamweight title challenger.

Drew Dober vs Gregor Gillespie Summer of 2020

Drew Dober last win was against Alexander Hernandez, Basically a coming out party for Dober who finally getting the recognition after fighting for the UFC since 2013. Now ranked #15 is on his way to challenging for the Lightweight title.

Next fight for Drew Dober is fighting Gregor Gillespie. Gillespie is #11, Gregor Gillespie last fight was against Kevin Lee back at UFC 244. Time for a return and I’d love to see him fight Drew Dober.

“I’d like to get in there, I’d like to get back in, but we’re not gonna rush it,” Gillespie said. “I’m not gonna wait as long as I did this time. I didn’t purposely wait [10 months], it’s just that the opportunity to fight a guy I wanted to fight wasn’t there, then this came along and it was the right opponent, so that’s why the time took so long. It’s going to be sooner than it was this time.”

Gregor Gillespie in the past was talked about as one of Khabib’s toughest future opponent because he was a four time Division One- All American Wrestler at for Edinboro University. Winning a National Championship in 2007.

Gillespie will be a tough test for Drew Dober but Dober trains at Elevation Fight Team with Justin Gaethje. Gaethje will definitely help out Dober grappling defense as Gaethje was a Division One All-American at Northern Colorado in 2010.

Gregor Gillespie vs Justin Gaethje is definitely a fight to make this summer. No way in hell this fight won’t be exciting, Three rounds back and forth action.

Felder vs Oliveira UFC 251?

Paul Felder last fight was a classic five round war against Dan Hooker in December. Felder wants one more fight or maybe he wants to make a run for the title. Charles Oliveira making a run of his own, Seven fighting win streak by defeating Kevin Lee in the third round.

Charles Oliveira needs a fight and Paul Felder needs a fight, Schedule a bout for them at UFC 251. UFC 251 is scheduled for July 11th. Gives them both time to train, Get back into shape.

“I’m in an amazing phase. I feel like I just got brought into the UFC. I’m happy. I’m eager to win. Of course, I respect all my opponents. But I’ll keep moving forward. My friends and I always say, ‘The time for meowing is done, now it’s time to roar.’

Oliveira defeats talented UFC commentator, Top Ten Lightweight in the world will be another significant win for Charles Oliveira. Being a title contender with one more fight.

Paul Felder with a win over Charles Oliveira who beat Kevin Lee and on seven fight winning streak. Maybe with a knock out a dominant win Paul Felder will refuse to retire and challenge for the title. Imagine Felder vs Tony Ferguson.

“I can tell you that after all of this with what we’re going through, I cannot wait to fight again,” Felder said. “Dude, I’m on this bike. I had my manager, Brian Butler, send me all these photos. I texted him last night. I said, ‘Man, I’m a little depressed.’ I’m missing my job. I’m missing my guys. I’m missing my commentary. … We’re having a great time. Family time is great. But I just miss that fire.”

UFC 251 Felder vs Oliveira Main Card fight, Set it up Sean Shelby.

Luque vs Geoff Neal Fight Island

Vicente Luque impressive win over a tough guy like Niko Price. Watched the improvements in his stand up game from his last fight with Wonderboy. Wondering what was the next for Vicente Luque but we might of figured it out, Asking for a fight against Geoff Neal.

Geoff Neal last fight was knocking out Mike Perry. Basically a coming out party for the Dana White Contender Series alumni. Neal a rising Welterweight now ranked in the top 15.

Luque vs Neal is a fight I won’t be mad about. Two of the best young welterweights, Future of the welterweight division.

“Another fight I’m keeping my eye on is Vicente Luque vs. Mike Perry,” Neal told MMA Junkie Radio (go to the 1:22:14 mark in the video above). “I feel like whoever wins that one, they’ll throw the winner against me. So we’ll see what happens with that.”

As to who might meet him on that island location (assuming Dana White is able to pull off the concept of hosting fights on a private island,), “I don’t know,” said Luque. “There are a lot of guys out there that that don’t have a fight right now in the top 15. I think Geoff Neal would be an interesting fight. But many guys, many guys in the top 15. That’s what I’m aiming [at], top 15, top 10.”

Both asking for a fight against each other and you’ll receive. Uncle Bobby Dana set up a fight between Geoff Neal vs Vicente Luque for September on Fight Island!!

Main Card fight for the Khabib vs Gaethje UFC PPV.

Luque UFC 249 Opportunity to shine

Vincente Luque after his loss to Stephen Wonderboy Thompson got complimented for being a talented fighter who has tremendous potential. Luque upcoming fight is against Niko Price.

Love to see the improvements in his striking, Defense against Niko Price. Fighting in front of millions of viewers across the world who are desperate for live sports.

“I fought four times last year, I watched those four fights, and I don’t look so different from one to the other, so guys can read me. If I’m always doing the same things, I have to add to that. I’m not going to stop doing what I’m good at, but I need to add new things, so that’s what I’ve been working on. I also put on some boxing. Boxing is great, and I’ve been doing a lot of work with a boxing coach and get some hand speed, so that’s good.”

Obsessively working on his boxing, The errors in his previous performances will see a new and improved fighter who can become a contender for the UFC Welterweight Title.

I want to go out there and perform so Niko Price made sense. He’s a great fighter, he’s aggressive, he’s coming off a great win over James Vick so for the fans, I know that this is gonna be a great fight.

Watch a masterful performance against Niko Price, Next fights can be against Michael Chiesa or Rafael Dos Anjos.

Dan Ige vs Sodiq Yusuff UFC 249 brooklyn

Dan Ige defeated Mirsad Bektic on the UFC 247 Main Card. Dominating Bektic in the striking game. Best opportunity for Ige to showcase his talents. Super Sodiq Yusuff beat Andre Fili at UFC 246 Prelims, My opinion was the stand out fighter for UFC 246 showing his potential as a future champion. Dan Ige vs Sodiq Yusuff UFC 249 Fight!!

Both fighters fought the full three rounds but wasn’t a lot damage considering they fought three rounds. Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard schedule this bout for UFC 249. Definitely a fight that fans want to see.

Ige beating former #1 2014 MMA Prospect Mirsad Bektic showed the world who Dan Ige is and deserves tougher opponents. Yusuff 11-1 record 4-0 with the UFC is the perfect opponent for Dan Ige.

Sodiq Yusuff #14th ranked UFC Featherweight while Dan Ige is close to being a top 15 UFC Featherweight.

Impressive win for Soqiq Yusuff defeating Dan Ige will raise his stock, More fans will acknowledge Yusuff as a POTENTIAL UFC Featherweight Champion. Win for Dan Ige shows the world he’s a future Featherweight Champion who has been under looked but not anymore.

UFC 249 Dan Ige vs Sodiq Yusuff definitely a fight I want to see.

Juan Adams UFC 247 begins his winning streak

Juan Adams, 28 years old lost to Greg Hardy and Arjan Bhullar in 2019 but in 2020 will see a reborn Juan Adams and become a Heavyweight prospect in 2020. Adams fight Justin Tafa in the main card of UFC 247.

Juan Adams left Paradigm Training Center and now had Jackson Wink MMA Academy one of the best Gyms in the world. One of the best decisions he’ll make in his life. Greg Jackson fix the errors in his game during training and he’ll be fighter of the night for UFC 247.

UFC is hungry for young Heavyweight Prospects and Juan Adams because of switching gyms, Different mindset see a new and improved Juan Adams.

“I feel extremely confident entering this fight. My whole outlook is I’m excited to get to practice and work with people,” Adams said. “I’m surrounded by high-level athletes that force me to be on my stuff. Always.”

“I’m either going to knock him out or get a TKO. Once he feels my power, he is going to try and do something stupid. I’m going to capitalize on that. My wrestling, my positioning, all that is superior to his,” Adams concluded. “So, when he feels my power and tries to close the distance and get into a clinch he is going to end up on the ground and on the ground, my ground and pound is game-changing.”

Mirsad Bektic UFC 247 Return of the Future UFC Featherweight Champion

Mirsad Bektic former top 15 UFC Featherweight returns to the Octagon against Dan Ige at UFC 247, Bektic lost to Josh Emmett in the first round at ESPN +13. Since 2017 Bektic has been streaky but he’s a incredible talent with UFC Featherweight Champion potential.

Mirsad Bektic talent is there, May doubt his ability to become a champion but trains with the best MMA coach Firas Zihabi. 8-2 record with the UFC.

Injuries, Struggles, Bad Mindset prevented Mirsad Bektic to fulfill his potential.

“I was scheduled to fight Moicano in December, but I suffered a pretty bad laceration and my coaches and doctor agreed it would be best to step away, take some time and heal up before getting back in there,” said Bektic. “Once I started training again, I had a freak accident at the gym that ended up giving me a fracture that required surgery.

“The result itself was a surprise,” he said of the bout with Emmett. “I was going in there to win, but with my preparation and how it was going, I wasn’t surprised. I was readjusting a lot of things since that Moicano fight where I got scratched off that card due to injuries. I had a toe injury and then had toe surgery, which was more extensive than the ACL surgery I had. It was a lot to come back from and it was a difficult time.

Tough times make strong men, Tested during those difficult times when you want to give up but because of his past, Immigrant from Bosnia he’ll never give up. 2014 was the #1 MMA prospect, Doesn’t want to be labeled as a bust. Labeled as a champion and that’s what will see at UFC 247.

Win over Dan Ige will reborn the UFC Featherweight Potential Champion, Gaining confidence and a journey to the Featherweight Title Shot.

Geoff Neal vs Santiago Ponzinibbio Next Fight?

Geoff Neal knocked out Mike Perry impressively in the first round. Best win of Neal’s career!! Showcasing his talents to new fans on the UFC 245 Prelim Headline. Fans like myself excited to see Neal’s next fight. Fight that makes the most sense is Neal fighting Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Santiago Ponzinibbio is a top ten UFC Welterweight, 27-3 record hasn’t fought since November 17th, Beating Neil Magny. Santiago supposed to fight Robbie Lawler at UFC 245 but Santiago pulled out because of a staph infection. If Neal wants a quick return in 2020, Ponzinibbio vs Neal would make a lot of sense!!

Neal vs Ponzinibbio can headline a UFC ESPN Event, Fight on UFC 247: Jones vs Reyes Main Card. Be an exciting fight to watch, Hopefully it happens.

Manny Bermudez UFC 241 Fights Casey Kenney 5th UFC Appearance

Manny Bermudez , 25 year old UFC Bantamweight Rising Star is appearing in his 5th UFC fight against Casey Kenney. Bermudez take advantage of the opportunity of fighting on the biggest card of the year… UFC 241. Manny Bermudez fighting on the UFC 241 prelims is still a big spotlight, Show his rising star talents to casual fans.

Bermudez in his last two fights Guillotine choked, 9-0 Bantamweight Benito Lopez in the first round and triangle choked, Davey Grant in the first round. Bermudez looking better and better in each fight in the UFC.

Whatever makes it easier for me to get the win is the path I usually take. If I feel like he is a little slow then I can stay standing. If I want to get it to the ground, I’ll take him down. I just try and get the finish,” he explained. “Casey is good a good grappler and good striking but at the end of the day I think he is going to make a mistake and I’ll capitalize on it and submit him.”

Bermudez with a impressive submission win over Casey Kenney will make him a rising star in the Bantamweight Division, Hopefully fighting on a Main Event card on a fight night or a future UFC PPV.

Bermudez signed a new four fight contract after his win against Benito Lopez. Will be seeing a lot more of Manny Bermudez as he climbs up the Bantamweight rankings and will be seeing Manny Bermudez at UFC 241 fighting Casey Kenney!!

Sodiq Yusuff UFC 241 Fights Gabriel Benitez

Sodiq Yusuff won a contract on Week 6 of 2018 Dana White Contender Series. Yusuff has never looked back since than with a 2-0 record in the UFC. Yussuff next fight is against Mexican Featherweight Gabriel Benitez at UFC 241, Second fight on the main card!! Major step for Sodiq Yusuff.

Yusuff rising star for the UFC Featherweight Division raised up quickly in a year to fight in the UFC 241 main event after an impressive win against Sheymon Moraes.

Mar 30, 2019; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Sodiq Yusuf (red gloves) fights Sheymon Moraes (blue gloves) during UFC Fight Night at Wells Fargo Arena. Yusuf won the fight. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Nigeria and Africa is a hot bed for MMA Talent now with Kamaru Usman, Israel Adesanya, Francis Ngannou, Kennedy Nzechukwu and now including Sodiq Yussuf.

“Personally, I was so happy. Their success is a win for the country. I remember wondering why all these Irish would go crazy for Conor, it makes sense to me now. I almost cried watching Usman wave that flag and win the belt. Nigeria keeps on winning, I want to add to that.”

Yusuff can definitely add to the collection of Nigerian UFC Champions with his potential and world class talents, Sky’s the limit for Yusuff. Motivation of the recent tragedy in Sodiq’s life with the loss of his brother before the Suman Mokhtarian fight.

But before he took on Suman Mokhtarianin his first official UFC fight in December, tragedy struck. His older brother Tope, a constant positive force in his life, caught typhoid fever, slipped into a coma, and died. Sodiq was informed about it by his mom only a week before he boarded a plane for his next fight. It was with all of that on his mind that he traveled from Baltimore to Australia for his fight with Mokhtarian. He was a man split down the middle between profound pent-up emotion and competitive focus.

After losing his brother, Sodiq Yusuff continues his fight for family back in Nigeria

Fighting for his family, Loss of his brother always on his mind before the fight will give him extra motivation to go on his journey for the UFC Featherweight Title. Being a Top 15 Featherweight, Main Event a UFC ESPN + Event and than a title shot.

Arman Tsarukyan UFC 240 Fighter to Watch

Arman Tsarukyan, UFC Fighter at 22 years old lost in his UFC debut against Islam Makhachev in a 3 round fight. Arman shouldn’t be down on himself as Islam was the #14 ranked UFC Lightweight. Arman upcoming fight wouldn’t be against a ranked Lightweight but fighting Olivier Aubin- Mercier. Interesting fight for Arman to see how far Arman has grown, That’s why Arman is my fighter to watch.

SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA – APRIL 20: (R-L) Arman Tsarukyan of Russia punches Islam Makhachev of Russia in their lightweight bout during the UFC Fight Night event at Yubileyny Sports Palace on April 20, 2019 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

Tsarukyan, from Russia, made his promotional debut in April at UFC on ESPN+ 7, but dropped a unanimous decision to Islam Makhachev. Prior to that, the 22-year-old had a 12-fight winning streak that included eight finishes.

Tsarukyan looking to start a UFC winning streak and nine finishes against Olivier Aubin- Mercier. Training hard at Tiger Muay Thai & MMA being coached by George Hickman. Arman without a doubt will look better than ever as he trains with Mairbek Taisumov, Alexey Kunchenko, and Timofey Nastyukhin.

Arman Tsarukyan has beaten good competition including former UFC fighters Junior Assuncao, Takenori Sato, and Felipe Oliviera. Tsarukyan is a great addition to the UFC’s lightweight division. At only 22, he has a very high ceiling.

Arman will add another impressive win to his career by beating Olivier Aubin Prince Mercier. Showing Dana White and the MMA world that he’s one of the pound for pound UFC prospects.

Tony Ferguson vs Conor Mcgregor fall of 2019?

Tony Ferguson hasn’t been fighting since UFC 229 because of mental issues. His wife filed a restraining order on him because she was worried for his safety.

“Tony Ferguson is a good husband and good father to our son. The current legal proceedings are part of a process to ensure that Tony will receive the help necessary to continue being the best possible husband and father, as well as to pursue his passion and career as a UFC champion fighter.”

Tony Ferguson recently had a meeting with Dana White and he’s medically cleared to fight. Dana White recently had a meeting with Conor McGregor in Las Vegas. Wondering if Conor vs Tony is a fight that will happen, Dana setting this up for a huge main event in Las Vegas.

Fight makes sense as Conor hasn’t fought since UFC 229 as well because of suspensions, Getting arrested and running his proper whiskey business. Both Conor and Tony occasionally trash talk to each other on twitter, Tony calling ConorMcNugget.”

Khabib vs Poirier is happening in September, UFC 242 in Dubai. In October that’s when Conor Vs Tony will happen or maybe will happen. Gives Conor and Tony enough time to promote the fight and train. The winner of Conor vs Tony faces the winner of Khabib vs Poirier. It’s a 4 fighter tournament without being declared one.

Helps the Lightweight Division out as it’s in chaos right now and maybe these 4 fights will help the Lightweight Division. Understanding where Conor is at right now, How many fights does he TRULY have and is Tony medically healthy!!

Overall hope Tony vs Conor will happen because it’s a fight lots of mma fans have been waiting for and without a doubt will be a fun fight to watch.

Donald Cerrone Title Shot against Poirier vs Khabib ?

Donald Cerrone beat Al Iaquinta whose a Top 5 Lightweight in the UFC on May 4th in Ottawa. The main event for UFC OTTAWA. Donald Cerrone post fight called for the Lightweight Title Shot fighting Fighting the winner of Khabib vs Poirier!!

Congrats to @cowboycerrone on the impressive win last night and MUCH respect to the incredibly TOUGH and BAD ASS @aliaquinta for an amazing fight!!!! Dana white on Instagram

Donald Cerrone has been in the UFC since 2011. He always puts on entertaining fights for the fans, Never has a boring fight and is a fan favorite. Cerrone definitely deserves a title shot. Cerrone is 36 years old, His career is coming to a close soon possibly having only two years left.

“My name’s in the hat for [Nurmagomedov or Poirier] for sure if one of them fall out. But like I said, I left here [ranked No. 2 at lightweight] and I didn’t go anywhere,” Cerrone said post-fight (via MMA Fighting). “So people ask me where should I be ranked, I don’t care about ranking. I should beat these guys, I feel like I’m the best in the world. I feel like that’s where I belong and for the UFC not to give me a title shot, I would step back and I would be thoroughly disappointed. Like, wow, a guy who’s done all this for the sport, I don’t trash talk, I go in there and I deliver every time and you’re going to overlook me for somebody else. I’d be really upset like, wow, that’s the company work for?”

Donald Cerrone

  • Most wins in UFC history 23
  • Most finishes in UFC history with 16
  • Most post fight bonuses with 17
  • Beat Benson Henderson, Edson Barboza, Al Iaquinta, Eddie Alvarez.
  • Competed for the UFC lightweight title
  • WEC Title Contender

Case is closed in my opinion Cerrone should get his title shot, He truly deserves it. Fight Khabib or Poirier than hopefully get the fight against Conor McGregor.

DC vs Stipe 2 August 17th

Stipe Miocic never got his rematch against Daniel Cormier. DC knocked out Stipe in under a minute in the first round. Thought Stipe would respectfully get a title defense but it never happened until now!! August 17th in Anaheim California there will be a rematch.

“He’s being entitled, why have I fought since and he hasn’t,” Cormier said of Miocic. “He lost the fight is he still the champ? Bloody Elbow

“It’s the fight I want,” he said. “I think everyone wants to fight Brock. We all want to fight Brock.”

He added: “Dana get on the phone right now. If you haven’t called him yet, do it today! What are you waiting for? Get this s–t on the books. Let’s get this on the books!”

DC was supposed to fight Brock Lesnar but that fight isn’t happening in 2019. DC wanted that fight so badly because it can set him up for generational wealth. Stipe vs DC 2 can set him up for generational wealth if promoted correctly.

Max Holloway should stay at Lightweight or Drop Down to Featherweight?

Max Holloway lost to Dustin”Diamond”Poirier in a five round fight for the interim lightweight title. Holloway’s 13 Fight winning streak comes to an end as he had his first fight at Lightweight. Holloway’s striking skills wasn’t there on Saturday as he usually dominates in the standup, Holloway demolished Aldo and Ortega with his striking. In the fight against Poirier the punches weren’t dramatically affecting Dustin. What should Max do next, Stay at 155 pounds or return to 145 pounds.

Schaub discusses on the Joe Rogan Podcast about Holloway moving up to Lightweight isn’t the best decision for him, The Poirier punches affected Holloway a lot worse than what Holloway punches did to Poirier. Holloway landed more punches but Poirier’s punches were more significant.

Max in his last fight against Poirier, We see Poirier taking it to Holloway in the whole fight. Dustin in the first round had those deadly knees and strikes, Tagging Max a lot. However Max is tough as nails and kept fighting, Max didn’t get knocked out and lasted 5 rounds in his first ever go around at Lightweight. Watched the fight a couple times, Holloway still had his beautiful masterpiece combinations but never truly hurt Poirier. Holloway at 145 is another story and maybe that’s where he should stay.

“It’s crazy, what I didn’t expect is he looked small at 155,” White told the media at the UFC 236 post-fight press conference (via MMAjunkie). “So I look forward to him going back to 145.”

I agree with Uncle Bobby Dana about Max looking small at 155 pounds but I disagree with Dana for Holloway moving down to 145 pounds. Max dominated the Featherweight division and now it’s time to seek a challenge in the Lightweight division. Max vs Tony Ferguson is a exciting fight to watch which was supposed to happen.

On the other hand there young hungry lions in the featherweight division such as Alexander Volkanovski, Zabit Magomedsharipov and can have Brian Ortega Part 2. Max can continue being the greatest Featherweight of all time and defeat the new top 5 UFC Featherweights.

Overall I rather see Max continue to fight at Lightweight, Interesting to see what Max does there. Max just needs to work on his strength and conditioning, Become a bigger 155 pounder. Max is the featherweight champion for a reason because he’s extremely disciplined and he’ll do whatever it takes to be the UFC Lightweight Champion.

Two Oceanians will collide, Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker

Israel Adesanya, New Zealand immigrant from Nigeria became the UFC Interim Lightweight Champion by defeating Kelvin Gastelum . Israel had the toughest and hardest challenge of his career against Gastelum, The fight was a war and Israel came on top. Israel showed his true talents against Kelvin and will have to show his talents against Robert Whittaker, UFC Middleweight Champion.

“We were going to do that fight here; I wanted that fight in the U.S.,” White told reporters, including MMA Junkie, post-fight at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. “We’re definitely not doing that fight in the U.S. That fight is going to Australia. It will be massive in Australia. I put my guys on that. That’s their homework for this week. A stadium, not an arena, A stadium in Australia.” Dana White MMA JUNKIE

Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker is going to be a PPV success. Last couple years ppv’s have been hard to sell but without a doubt this fight well sell close to a million buys. If everything goes to plan this will be one of the biggest fights in UFC history and one of the best fights ever. Casual fans will be watching this fight as well.

Predict the fight going to be scheduled in September, October or November. Hope everything goes to plan.

UFC 236 Fight of the Night Goes Too?

Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier will be FIGHT OF THE NIGHT because both fighters are stand up fighters. Both of these guys are not grapplers, Rarely see them attempting to take there opponent down. Holloway vs Poirier won’t be the bloodbath fight but more of a technical striking fight.

Max Holloway is a technical striker not a brawler like Justin Gaethje. Holloway picks his openings and takes advantage of it. Holloway in my opinion and many other MMA Analyst think Holloway is one of the best boxers in MMA today. Max Holloway just keeps pushing the pace every round and that’s why Holloway has two fight of the night bonuses. Well Deserved.

Dustin Poirier is no slouch either with NINE Fight Bonuses, When entering the Octagon you always know Dustin is putting on a show for the fans. Poirier is a killer. Steps in the Octagon and goes all in.

  • Fight of the Year vs Chang Sung Jung 2012
  • Fight of the Year vs Justin Gaetje 2018
  • Fight of the Night Five Times

Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier will be Fight of the Night and possibly nominated for Fight of the Year!!

Fan Favorite Justin Gaethje Knocks Out Barboza, What’s Next?

Justin Gaethje headlines his 4th event by having a first round war with Edson Barboza. What’s next for the fan favorite, Who sells out crowds because he loves to fight.

“It doesn’t matter to me (who I fight next),” Gaethje told reporters, including MMA Junkie, post-fight at UFC on ESPN 2. “They’re going to pay me a lot of money, that’s what I’m here for. I want to be the world champion. I want to fight Khabib, I think I’m one of the biggest threats to his title and that’s my goal. Whoever I have to go through.”

Khabib vs Gaethje

Justin Gaethje is an all american wrestler and a brawler. Justin has a crazy chin and a high motor. The fight with Khabib makes a lot of sense as Khabib suspension ends in September. Without a doubt be Khabib’s toughest matchup so far… Dana White would love this fight as he loves both fighters, It can be the main event for a ESPN PPV and can sell 800k- 1 million ppv buys.

Gaethje vs Iaquinta

Al Iaquinta is a beast who just beat Kevin Lee, Dominating Lee with wrestling. Raging Al is a future UFC champion and an all around fighter. Al Iaquinta lasted five rounds against Khabib under 1 day notice.

Holloway/ Poirier vs Gaethje

Max Holloway coming up to lightweight to fight Dustin Poirier in UFC 236. Max is a striking beast, One of the best fighters on the planet and is 27 years old. Dustin is the dark horse of the lightweight division and is highly capable of beating Max. However Holloway vs Gaethje would be a hell of a fight to watch, No disrespect to Dustin. Be an entertaining fight to watch .

Overall the Lightweight division is in a mess right now, Conor retiring from MMA but I doubt it, Khabib suspension and Tony dealing with mental issues. The fight that makes sense the most at this moment on April 1st, 2019 is the winner of Holloway vs Poirier against Gaethje. Gaethje deserves the fight, Always puts on a show for the fans and the title fight wouldn’t be anymore different. Max is a stand up fighter mostly and so is Dustin! Definitely worth the money to order that fight, I’m probably going to buy the ppv if that fight happens!

Watchout for Kevin Lee “Motown Phenom”

Kevin Lee moving up to welterweight to face Rafael Dos Anjos. Lee used to be a lightweight but the cut was HORRIBLE FOR HIM.

“The weight cut, was what it was. I wasn’t going to let down the whole show, let down everybody. I was going to make weight, even if I had to cut my foot off or something,” he said. “It damn near killed me, but I had to do what I had to do. I got job to do. I’m a professional. I would come out here no matter how bad it hurts. I felt like I put my best performance on tonight, but by the third round it was just too much for me.” SB Nation

Kevin Lee is a beast, One of the best young fighters in the UFC today. Lee already competed for a UFC Title and headlined 4 main events. Lee at welterweight is very fascinating, Lee is a new addition to the welterweight division, Giving Usman, Covington, Woodley, Askren a lot of trouble.

Possible for Kevin Lee to become the UFC Welterweight champion of the world. Lee can go on a complete tear first by beating Rafael Dos Anjos and other top 5-10 welterweights. Lee is an all around fighter and has so much potential. Kevin Lee can be one of the stars of the UFC and it may start now!

Conor McGregor Fights that Make Sense?

Conor the star of the UFC, The Irish Warrior who brought his whole country with him. Conor’s title run at the featherweight division was amazing and winning the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez were incredible times. The Mayweather vs McGregor tour was very entertaining and the fight will never be forgotten in combat sports history. Conor vs Khabib was a dream fight for the ages but Conor got obliterated.

Conor net worth is 100 to 150 million dollars, Hard to continue to fighting when your rich. However if Conor is intrigued to fight again who will he fight?

Conor vs Khabib 2

Conor vs Khabib 1 had 2.4 PPV Buys which was good business for everybody. The second fight can be 3.5 PPV buys which is a lot of money for the UFC. It’s a fight to make but Conor is going to lose.

Conor vs Holloway

Conor fought Max when Max was a kid. Max is the best featherweight of all time, Both fighters are strikers. It can be a very entertaining fight and a fight for the ages. Fight that makes sense. Max moved up to lightweight to fight Dustin Poirier, Conor vs Max can be a lightweight fight.

Conor vs Nate Diaz 3

Both fights were top 10 greatest fights of all time in the UFC. Selled well PPV wise and Conor just wants fights that make him the most money. The Third Fight is what everybody wants to see, Has to happen eventually.

Conor vs Woodley

Conor and Tyron have been trash talking for a while, Since UFC 205. Woodley is one of the best welterweights of all time. Woodley can sell fights but never had a partner to sell it with. Conor fought at 170 once against Nate Diaz. Possibly be a WelterWeight fight or a catchweight fight.

Overall Conor is a star, He’s been tweeting a lot lately trying to hype up fights, See what makes the most sense to him. Love to see Conor fight once or twice and the whole world would love to see Conor return inside the Octagon.

Stipe Miocic, Whose he fighting?

Stipe got knocked out by Daniel Cormier under a minute. That was the last time we seen Stipe fight. Will he ever step foot inside the octagon again? Thought Cormier would give Miocic a rematch but it never happened because it wasn’t a money fight.

Fight matchups

  • Miocic vs Ngannou
  • Miocic vs Lewis
  • Miocic vs Blaydes

Joe Rogan Stipe Miocic click the link!!

He deserves a rematch if I don’t get to fight Brock. I’ve always stood by that. But you can’t just go, ‘Well, you owe it to me.’ I don’t want to sit here and talk bad about Stipe because I like Stipe. I think he’s a good guy. He’s a fantastic father. He’s a pillar of the community. He’s a great fighter. I think he’s great. But you can’t sit there and say, ‘He owes me.’” MMA Daniel Cormier

Miocic is going to have to wait for Cormier to retire. Miocic returns and has his title run, Becomes the UFC champion by beating Lewis, Ngannou or the new youth!!

“In a perfect world, which we know this isn’t a perfect world, I think you see Brock, I think you see Stipe and hopefully Jon Jones,” White said. “Those are his three and he’ll go out with a bang man, then he’ll probably retire.”Dana White MMA Junkie

What Now for the UFC Featherweight Division Title?

Max Holloway moving up to the lightweight division to fight Dustin Poirier. Max Holloway will stay in the lightweight division. What’s the future of the division look like now ?

Jose Aldo is reborn, Two Fight win streak. Aldo probably has one more title run in him.

Aldo revealed on Wednesday afternoon that he intends to fight the last three bouts on his current contract with the UFC in 2019 and is hopeful all three fights are staged in Brazil before hanging up his gloves for good (via MMA Fighting): “

Aldo is fighting Alexander Volkanovski, Volkanovski is on a 16 fight win streak! He just beat Chad Mendes.

“While Aldo initially revealed that he hadn’t heard of the Australian fighter, which didn’t seem to bother Volkanovski all that much, Aldo’s head coach, Andre Pederneiras, is now singing a different tune. “We want him to fight Alexander Volkanovski, the guy who knocked out Chad Mendes, the guy who is the best ranked,” Pederneiras told Confraria da Porrada . “In fact, it is the following: we have a dream to dispute the title, which is difficult. So we have the dream of our last fight to get there.” MMA Mania and Sb Nation

Brian Ortega is a future featherweight champion either this year or in 2020. Ortega had a really tough fight with Max Holloway but that’s a learning experience, Ortega is extremely talented and a all around fighter.

Ortega hasn’t fought since that fight and I believe he will face rising star Zabit Magomedsharipov.

“He’s not a top 10 guy, he’s a top five guy,” Henry told FOX Sports. “He could be champ today. I’ve seen a natural in baseball, football, boxing, but never MMA. Just too many disciplines. He’s the first natural MMA fighter I’ve ever seen. He can do it all.” Fox Sports

Zabit is a human highlight video and it will be a interesting fight to watch. Zabit is an all around fighters and just beat world class fighter Jeremy Stephens!!

Last win for Ortega was Frankie Edgar who he knocked out in the first round!!!Edgar the legend hasn’t fought since beating Cub Swanson in April of 2018. Edgar was supposed to fight Chan Sung Jung in November but Edgar torn his biceps. Edgar hopefully this year gets a title shot, Maybe fights Aldo if he beats Volkanovski.

Ben Askren trash talk YouTube

Finally the arrival of Ben Askren, I can’t wait for Askren to fight Robbie Lawler. All because of Joe Rogan, Askren is in the UFC. Askren without a doubt, Askren is one of the best wrestlers in the UFC and will dominate his opponents. The welterweight division is in trouble because of Askren. I believe Ben will be a star soon, Ben has the marketing checklist to make him a star. Another star in the making is Zabit Magomedsharipov who will be a future UFC featherweight champion. Zabit is facing Jeremy Stephens. A test for Zabit which will be a fascinating to watch. Lastly Johnny Walked a light heavyweight future star whose fighting Misha Cirkunov. Walker gives some new blood to the light heavyweight division.

Zabit Magomedsharipov Joe Rogan

I’m so excited for UFC 235, Counting down the days till it arrives. A lot of fights to watch and the debut of Ben Askren. Lastly if you watch UFC 235 don’t illegally stream it, Pay 65 dollars because your basically stealing money from Jon Jones, Anthony Smith, Woodley and Usman… But that’s for another blog.
