DWCS 2021 Week 7 Fighters to Watch

Exciting card to watch, MMA prospects I’ve been watching for a while that I believe can be future UFC champions or least title challengers one day. Definitely will be watching these fights.

Christian Rodriguez

Christian Rodriguez is a prospect I’ve been watching since LFA 82 back in 2019. Since than became a fan of him.

Trains out of Roufusport MMA Academy with Anthony Pettis, Emmanuel Sanchez, Raufeon Stots, Sergio Pettis, Ben Askren, Brendan Allen. Training partners with Anthony Pettis.

Fast rising Bantamweight prospect. Next version of Anthony Pettis as he’ll only get better with Five Professional fights.

Facing off MMA lab product Junior Cortez.

Dana White will be watching a star Tuesday Night, Future UFC star.

Martin Buday

Fighting for one of the best MMA promotions in Europe, Oktagon MMA. Buday was the Oktagon Heavyweight Champion.

Defeating most opponents by knockout because of his Heavyweight KO power. With a clean right hand to the jaw good luck getting up after that one.

Built like Daniel Cormier and a Silverback. 29 years old, Prime of his career. UFC Heavyweight Division is scarce on young talented heavyweights. Buday can definitely help the division.

  • 29 years old
  • 8-1
  • 4 KO’s
  • Oktagon Heavyweight Champion

Mitch Raposo

Brought more exposure to his name when fighting on the Ultimate Fighter Season 28. Lost the Exhibition Fight but the talent and stardom is there.

All-Around Bantamweight prospect, Reminds me of “TJ Dillashaw” because of his fighting style and the way he’s built. Focuses on standing up but was a Durfee High School wrestler in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Trains out of” Regiment Training Center“with Yorgan Da Castro, Lauzon Mixed Martial Arts with Randy Costa, Kyle Bochniak, Nate Andrews and bunch of other New England MMA prospects.

Showing impressive dominant performances like the fight against Ron Leon at Cage Titans 47. The KO win against Zachary Burhans showing the pop in his hands like Cody Garbrandt.

Raposo contender series fight is against Cage Warriors Flyweight Champion Jake Hadley. Easily will be toughest test for Raposo. See if he has what it takes to defeat Hadley as he moves down to flyweight.

Rewarded a UFC contract must win in dramatic fashion to impress the Boss of all bosses Dana White.

“It’s going to be a great fight but I’m too fast, and he’s never fought a wrestler or grappler like me. Everyone he’s fought are primarily strikers or just pretty good everywhere. I feel like I can compete with the best guys everywhere and that’s hard to deal with. We will see how it plays out, but this fight is going to be a banger. I promise you that.” Mitch Raposo interview with the Scrap.Co https://www.thescrap.co/top-of-the-class-mitch-raposo-is-primed-to-bring-a-title-to-new-england/

Raposo is only 22-years-old and he’s already so well rounded. Just imagine what the next few years will look like. Sct

Chris Duncan

Scottish like to fight and Chris Duncan definitely does. Duncan is a Scottish Warrior as he finishes his opponent with his right hand in the 1st or 2nd round.

100 % Finishing Rate which is glowing to Dana White’s eyes.

Winning fights early with Bellator and smaller regional promotions.

Duncan had aspirations to fight for Bellator but now can fight for the best PROMOTION in the world continuing his finishing rate streak
