Third Week of April has some good prospects to watch on UFC Fight Pass or on YouTube.
Searching for the next champion, World Class fighters in these regional promotions such as Legacy Fighting Alliance, Fury FC, KSW, Professional Fighters League.
Natan Schulte
Former PFL Light Champion in 2019 with significant wins against Rashid Magomedov, Jason High, Chris Wade, and Jesse Ronson.
Trains at the empire American Top Team as he’s one of the rising stars, Training with killers different styles of fighters makes him one of the best Lightweights outside of the UFC or Bellator.
Besides training at “ATT” he reminds me of Eddie Alvarez, Mateusz Gamrot and little bit like Rafael Dos Anjos.
Schulte has the walk him down striking ability with the smooth jabs, Addition to his nasty wrestling to transition game. Takedown against Loik Radzhabov was impressive in the PFL final.
Successful takedowns against his opponents over and over again than using transitions to control his opponent.
Schulte is a very good fighter definitely underrated, New year for the Professional Fighters League, Maybe will see him win a PFL Lightweight Tournament and the ONE MILLION DOLLAR PRIZE.
Raush Manfio
Returning to Professional Fighters League after winning the Lightweight title in 2021. Looking to win that second title and million dollar prize.
Manfio made his name this year when he defeated Anthony Pettis in his tournament run than defeating Clay Collard in the next fight.
Showing the MMA world he’s a force to be reckoned with for the next few years where he’s in his athletic prime.
He’s a skillful entertaining fighter to watch. Reminds me of Drew Dober and Rafa Garcia.
Sebastian Przybysz
Current KSW Bantamweight Champion. One of the best Bantamweight prospects in the world is defending his title against Werlleson Martins (Top 20 Brazilian Bantamweight).
Sebastian looking to show his best skills on the feet. Using his size and reach against Martins.
Reminds me a little of Cory Sandhagen. Cory does a good job using his reach to his advantage, Mixing up with punches and unexpected leg kicks.
- 28 years old
- 9-2 record
- KSW Bantamweight Champion
Kevin Cordero
Next big time prospect coming out of Spain, Became aware of his skills fighting for Combate Americas.
Biggest win for his MMA career was defeating former Bellator fighter Ricky Bandejas.
Lost to Frans Mlambo in the Copa Combate final by split decision but it was a fast pace constant movement fight as the decision could’ve went either way.
Cordero definitely has some good cardio as he’s constantly throwing punches and moving forward. Doesn’t have the biggest power in his hands so he’s more of a volume striker just Max Holloway, Diaz Brothers and Colby Covington.
He’s a talented fighter and looking forward to his 2022 MMA campaign. Best decision for him is fighting for Combate Americas again.
Scary part to all this is only 22 years old fighting former Bellator fighters. Cordero is ONLY going to get better.
Islam Konchiev NAIZA FC 39
Outside of the UFC, Bellator, One Championship is one of the best flyweights in the world.
Konchiev has some of the most beautiful MMA grappling, sprawls I’ve watched recently.
The way Petr Yan wrestles is similar to Islam Konchiev wrestling/grappling style.
Sick to watch as his opponents hunts for the takedown but instead Konchiev sprawls and grapples. Looking for chokes or put pressure on the feet.
Like most Russians have incredible endurance, Push the pace and constant movement for three rounds.
Next fight is against Dias Erengaipov 11-3 record at Naiza FC 39.
Bright future ahead of him as he’s only 22 years old. Future ACA Flyweight Champion before signing with UFC or One Championship.
- Potential Askar Askarov
- 22 years old
- 7-2 record
- Fought for ACA Young Eagles
- Strength – wrestling, grappling, cardio
