Bellator 273 Fighters to Watch

First event for Bellator in 2022,Excited for this year and hopefully see improvement in viewership as it helps the fighters make more money and be better competition to the UFC and One Championship.

Cheering for Bellator as they continue to sign talented fighters as there roster in way better than it was few years ago.

Bellator 273 has anticipated bout of Ryan Bader defending his Bellator Heavyweight title against Fedor protégé Valentin Moldavsky.

Bunch of other fighters to watch on this card that have a bright future ahead of them.

Islam Mamedov

Part of Team Khabib, American Kickboxing Academy is no other than Islam Mamedov one of the best Lightweights in the world,

Can prove to everyone he’s one of the best fighters in the world against the former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson. Obviously not the Benson Henderson of his UFC days but still a great fighter.

Mamedov can beat Benson Henderson in the Co-Main Event definitely would catapult his name. Showing his good striker and that Russian grappling as Mamedov will hunt for the takedowns controlling the three round fight.

Winning this fight can lead to a fight against Peter Queally or Goiti Yamaguchi depending how everything goes.

Aiden Lee

Only 26 years old with a 10-5 record fought for Cage Warriors and now Bellator with a record of 3-2. Fought Aaron Pico and loss but Aiden Lee never gave up, Giving Pico trouble on the ground yes Pico dominated Aiden Lee but kept going.

After the loss to Pico fought Aleksandr Osetrov 8-2 record and choked him out in the first round.

Shows his tough mindset to bounce back from his loss.

Now it’s time to defeat Henry Corrales at Bellator 273 a former Bellator top ten featherweight, King of the Cage Bantamweight Champion latest win was against Vladyslav Parubchenko.

Jaleel Willis

Jaleel Willis is a Bellator Welterweight prospect I’m high on to become a Bellator Welterweight Title contender one day but the goal right now is to to be a top 10 Bellator Welterweight.

Win against Bellator 273 opponent Sabah Homasi 15-10 record former UFC Fighter and American Top Team product definitely help in route to a top ten ranking.

Curious to see the improvements for Willis as he was irritated by the loss against Berkhamov. He’s aware of the mistakes he made , Knows he way better than that losing in the first round by submission.

Time to see a great performance by Willis showing that Memphis tough resilience just like Ja Morant. Bouncing back from a painful loss.

I could have taken an easy win and worked my way back up the rankings, but like I said, that last fight left a bitter, bitter taste in my mouth, and I knew that I needed to bounce back with a big one. I know I can beat Homasi. I’ve been watching him for years, like since his stint on The Ultimate Fighter to his run in the UFC. I’ve been game-planning on how to break his will,” Willis said.

Looking forward to this fight for Jaleel Willis, Definitely a test to see where’s he’s at. Impressing Scott Coker to be rewarded matchups against Jordan Mein another former UFC fighter with a lot of experience or a top ten Bellator Welterweight Derek Anderson.

Chris Gonzalez

Team Alpha Male product coming off a tough loss to Goiti Yamaguchi definitely a test fight for himself but came off a huge win against Roger Huerta.

Only has a record of 6-1 but is a world class wrestler winning the 2017 Silver Medal in the US National Championship, NJCAA All-American wrestler. Representing the New York Athletic Club for wrestling but right now trains at American Top Team.

With that accomplished wrestling background there’s so much potential, Wrestling can control the entire fight.

Saad Awad is next opponent for Chris Gonzalez. See where the American Top Team product is at right now at 30 years old. I’m sure he has aspirations to become a Bellator Lightweight Champion. Working on his striking much as possible.

Dalton Rosta

Nickname is the Hercules for a reason body built like a Roman Soldier sculpture. Beside having a crazy body he’s a very talented fighter, One of my Bellator prospects to watch in 2022.

Prospect out of American Top Team so many brilliant minds helping Dalton Rosta become the best fighter possible.

Rosta 5-0 record at 26 years old few more years till he hits his prime. Right now all about getting used to his Hercules body, Understanding how to be patient and not burn out real fast. Use his strength & power to control the entire fight and KO opponents.

Time goes on we can see Rosta being ranked in the top ten of the Bellator Middleweights.

Nikita Mikhailov

Team Fedor product only 23 years old last win was against the gritty tough Irishmen Brian Moore. Showed resilience and composure against Mukhamed Eminov in a three round grappling match. Nikita winning the last round.

Nikita is one of the top 15 Bellator Bantamweights right now and most likely will show a dominant performance against Blaine Shutt.

Main focus is takedowns, Controlling the fight.

Bellator 273 top to bottom is a great card to start 2022.
