“Tomorrow we will be filing an appeal for the blatantly horrible decision against Kai Kamaka,” Kamaka’s manager Brian Butler wrote in a statement released to MMA Fighting. “I don’t believe I have seen one media outlet that gave that fight to TJ and from what I understand even TJ and his team say they didn’t win. There is little to no recourse on these judges not being able to do their jobs properly and for a fighter like Kai who moved his entire household from Hawaii to pursue this career, it’s simply not right.

Bad luck against Danny Chavez deducting a point because of a low blow in Round 2. Judges messed this one up too, Kai Kamaka won this fight as well. Congratulations to the GREAT judges.

That is INSANE! Chavez didn't win 1 round. The 1st judge got it right. Something really needs to be done immediately! Last weekend was horrific & it's just continuing. How the hell can someone score a round for Chavez? 1 judge gave him round 1 & the other round 3. #1 BULLSHIT!

Any MMA promotion can sign this talented Hawaiian Featherweight, Building up the featherweight division and become a promotional rising star.

If I was Brian Butler(Kai Kamaka manager) I’d have him sign somewhere besides UFC. Time to win a Featherweight title outside the UFC and make a high earning salary as well.
