Five MMA Prospects to Keep an Eye On

Mix Martial Arts talent is growing all over the world as regional promotions discover the future UFC, Bellator and One Championship champions. I’m always looking for future champions that Major Promotions can sign, Fascinated by next prospects become champions or title challengers. Maybe some of the prospects I’ve researched will become some of the best fighters in the world in NEXT FIVE YEARS.

Farid Basharat

Farid Basharat 6-0 prospect is a very talented Bantamweight prospect from England. Younger brother of Javid Basharat. Trains out of the same gym in London Shootfighters that’s very underrated GYM from Michael “Venom” Page, Amir Albazi, Bellator prospect Norbert Novenyi Jr.

Farid Basharat I believe is better than his brother Javid.I love Farid’s fighting style, Looking for the finish. Quick hands, Southpaw.

Even though Basharat didn’t get the finish he got a dominant performance against Marco Zanetti at Contenders Norwich 29 and latest win was against Janne Elonen-Kulmala at rising MMA promotion Oktagon.

Masterful performance at Oktagon 26 with a third round submission.

Janne Elonen-Kulmala is in the top five of Nordic Bantamweight prospects. Definitely a win you want in your career that can impress the UFC, Bellator or One Championship matchmakers.

Solomon Renfro

Building his brand and name under the Cage Fury Fighting Championship, Rising Welterweight prospect at at 24 years old. Solomon Renfro is built like a TANK!! Wouldn’t want to get hit by him. Back to back wins by first round knockout.

Opportunity on the Dana White Contender Series to sign with UFC and fight the top Hawaiian prospect Johnny Parsons.

Ismael Bonfim

Top Ten Brazilian Lightweight prospect showcased his skills at LFA 111 defeated the rising Brazilian Lightweight prospect, Rangel De Sa. Awesome technical stand up fight. Rangel doing the unexpected kicks, Missing his shots because of Ismael Bonfim stand up defense.

Ismael has very good… B+ fighter IQ, Not taking dumb shots. Being careful but picking his shots. Can tell he has some dawg in his hands but didn’t get the knockout against the difficult Rangel De Sa.

  • 15-3
  • 25 years old
  • Five finishes

Watch out for Ismael Bonfim in 2021 the UFC, Bellator or One Championship will sign him.

Levi Mowles

Easily the #1 United States Bantamweight prospect, Levi Mowles is next in line for a opportunity on the Dana White Contender Series. 15-4 record 26 years old.

Latest win was against Teruto Ishihara former UFC fighter defeating him by first round rear-naked choke.

  • Former CFFC Bantamweight Champion
  • Atlas Fight Bantamweight Champion
  • Three Legacy Fighting Alliance wins
  • Defeated Jimmy Flick & Adrian Yanez

William Gomis

French top Five Featherweight prospect displayed a impressive win against the highly touted Swedish Featherweight prospect Tobias Harila. William Gomis definitely a fast athletic featherweight, Quick hands. Unorthodox fighting style kinda like Michael “Venom” Page.

  • 7-2 record
  • 25 years old
  • Trains at Atch Academy with Salahdine Parnasse(Former KSW Featherweight Champion)

William Gomis definitely will be a future UFC, Bellator Featherweight fighter in the next few years maybe capturing the Cage Warriors Featherweight Title or a regional title will help get him signed.
