Brendan Allen Rise Starts at UFC 261

Brendan Allen former LFA Middleweight Champion, Contender Series alumni was on a three fight winning streak defeating Kevin Holland, Kyle Daukaus and Tom Breese. Defeating tough Middleweights before losing to Sean Strickland.

“I think emotionally it was really tough to have it taken away from me again and I really didn’t know who Sean Strickland was, to be honest. I thought it was going to be a cakewalk,” Allen told UFC.com. “It was tough for me to wrap my head around missing out on the Top 15 opportunity. That was some immaturity there.”

Brendan Allen flying under the radar right now but looking to rise in 2021, Starts off by facing the very tough Karl Roberson on the prelims of UFC 261.

“With a good win over Karl Roberson, one that I make look good, then I can get a fight in that Top 15. Worst case it takes another fight, but I know it’s coming, and I’ll get it.”

“I expect a hard two rounds, but I don’t know if he can keep up with my pressure, my pace and my tenacity. I don’t think he has felt that. It’s just different.”

I’m going to win the fight, as long as I do those things and they add up, I’ll be just fine, and I’ll win the fight. If the finish comes, it’ll come. I got to the point where I was really looking for that in the last few fights and it didn’t happen.”
