Paul Capaldo CFFC Future Bantamweight Champion

Paul Capaldo 4-0 at 23 years old trains at Nick Catone MMA & Fitness. Coached by former UFC fighter Nick Catone, Sean Seantella BJJ coach. Capaldo upcoming fight was against John Sweeney but that fight would be cancelled.

John Sweeney Ring of Combat Bantamweight title challenger lost to Phil Caracappa. 6-2 record.

Sweeney vs Capaldo expect to be a CFFC Bantamweight contender fight. Once the virus is over I hope the CFFC Promoter and the matchmakers can schedule this fight in the summer of 2020 or fall of 2020.

Capaldo with a win over Sweeney places him as the #2 CFFC Bantamweight contender.

What makes Capaldo even more intriguing is the team supporting him. Training at Nick Catone MMA, Capaldo has an embarrassingly stacked list of training partners, including Eddie Alvarez, Lance Palmer, Frankie Edgar, Marlon Moraes, and Aaron Pico. Further, as the New Jersey-based gym has become home to traveling Russian fighters, Capaldo has worked more closely with the likes of Zabit Magomedsharipov and Said Nurmagomedov, and often spends time in Dagestan training at DagFighter.

Capaldo can begin 2020 with CFFC by fighting Alexander Keshtov(Former CFFC Bantamweight Champion) 9-1 record. Be the toughest fight of his life but with a win against a former CFFC Bantamweight Champion he can challenge Herbeth Sousa( CFFC Bantamweight Champion) for the CFFC Bantamweight title.

Training with Zabit, Moraes, Frankie Edgar, Eddie Alvarez and being coached by Nick Catone can lead Capaldo to being a CFFC Bantamweight Champion.

Impressive win for Capaldo and no doubt in 2021 offered to fight on the Dana White Contender Series.
