Philipe Lins UFC Heavyweight Title Run

Philipe Lins won the 2018 PFL Heavyweight Title and the 1 million dollar prize. Free Agent signed with the UFC, Fighting in the old dying Heavyweight division. Even though Philipe Lins is 34 years old, He can bring some life to the UFC Heavyweight division.

Lins (14-3), the PFL’s inaugural heavyweight champion, was unable to defend his crown after bowing out with an injury prior to the start of league’s 2019 regular season. He went 4-0 for the PFL, finishing all of his fights including a fourth-round TKO of Josh Copeland in the 2018 finals. Lins, 34, has also competed for Bellator.

Philipe Lins vs Andrei Arlovski was the UFC debut for Lins. Definitely a welcome debut. However the fight is postponed because of the coronavirus. However I expect this fight to resume in May, June which is a fight I can’t wait for.

Win over Arlovski will rank Lins in the top 15. Fight against Aleksei Olelinik, Sergei Pavlovich will be pretty cool to watch.

Competition between PFL and UFC is not even close but Philipe Lins trains at American Top Team and I’m sure he’ll be more than ready to fight the best Heavyweights in the world.

End of 2020 Philipe Lins can be a contender for the UFC Heavyweight Title.
