Main reason Dana White didn’t sign Steve Garcia because he missed the weight for a Bantamweight bought and needed to be a catchweight fight. Since Bantamweight was a struggle, Garcia is moving up to Featherweight and is fighting Jose Mariscal at Featherweight.

Garcia would go back and forth between Bantamweight and Featherweight but should remain at Featherweight to not ruin a UFC contract again.
