Nate Andrews Rebirth against Rashid Magomedov PFL #5

Nate Andrews, CES Lightweight Champion at 35 years old finally got an opportunity to fight for a Top 5 Promotion in the Professional Fighters League. Andrews lost to Chris Wade in his PFL debut in a five round fight. Andrews in his next fight against Rashid Magomedov will be reborn and look better than ever.

Nate Andrews had a five round fight with Chris Wade. Giving Wade a tough challenge. Andrews didn’t get demolished but wasn’t his best self. Wade was very impressed with Nate Andrews and his fighting skills.

Andrews will go back to the drawing board at the New England Combat MMA gym and analyze the mistakes Andrews he made. Work hard everyday at the New England Combat MMA gym because Andrews is fighting Rashid Magomedov. Magomedov a former UFC Lightweight Fighter with a record 5-1 in the UFC.

Definitely hardest challenge in Nate Andrews career. Andrews is a CES Lightweight Champion and before signing with the PFL was one of the top United States Prospects. Pound for Pound top ten.

“I have some amazing people around me, some people that have helped me get here. I travel too, get some great work in with Joe [Lauzon] and all the guys over there [at Lauzon MMA]. They come to Tri-Force as well, so we all get great work in.”

Many of Lauzon MMA’s stable are of the same management as Nate Andrews: Top Game Management. This allows him to build relationships with great fighters from not only his gym but all over. This includes current UFC fighters such as Rob Font, Calvin Kattar, Kyle Bochniak, and more.

“We all started around the same time. They got their opportunity before I did, but I learn from them, they keep me positive.” Andrews believes working with these fighters not only continues to grow his game, but keeps his hopes always high and head up. “You know they say it to me all the time, ‘I’ve been there,’ they know I’m going to get the call, they know how good my resume is.”
