Handesson Ferreira, Top Professional Fighters League Welterweight with a PFL record of 4-1 and one of the top Welterweights not in the UFC or Bellator is my Dark Horse to win the PFL Welterweight Title.
Ferreira was a semi- finalist last year on the Professional Fighters League but lost to Ray Cooper. Ferreira looks better than ever however against Bojan Veličković.
Ferreira winning by unanimous decision, Beating Bojan who was a Former UFC Fighter gives Ferreira lot more confidence. Showing he can beat Former UFC Fighters.
Boy Doido” has beaten some of the best welterweights in Brazil over the past years, collecting belts left and right. He was listed as one of the best prospects in his native country in 2016 among talents like Poliana Botelho, Viviane Pereira, Luan Chagas, Amanda Lemos and Bruna Ellen https://www.mmafighting.com/2018/10/20/17989248/twenty-seconds-playoffs-handesson-ferreira-retirement-pfl-rick-story
Ferreira entered the PFL late in the 2018 season as an alternate, but he immediately made an impact. At PFL 7, he secured the 3rd fastest knockout of the season, a 20-second TKO of Paul Bradley. Ferreira then went on to advance past Rick Story in the quarterfinals, which set up a rematch with Ray Cooper III, who Ferreira had defeated one year earlier pre-PFL. He lost the rematch against Cooper, but he’s back this season and looking for more. Ferreira’s nickname is “Boy Doido”, which means “Crazy Boy”. https://www.pflmma.com/person/handesson24082018155108
