Extremely impressed with Swedish strawweight prospect Josefine Knutsson on the UFC Noche prelims. Allstars Training Center prospect put on MMA clinic against Marnic Mann.

Dana White Contender Series product looked like she was in complete control.

What Impressed me about Josefine Knutsson

First round to last minute didn’t feel the pressure of her UFC debut, first fight of the night. K-1 Kickboxing background paid dividends as Knuttson piecing Mann apart with leg kicks and jabs later second and third round.

Knuttson is a top ten woman’s kickboxer but did well controlling Mann in the clinch towards the fence. Top mount & Side Control pressure was very good from former kickboxer.

Overall love what I saw from her but needed to make more of a statement go for the kill in the later rounds, physically and mentally break her opponent down.

Looking Forward to her future!

Bright future ahead of her, strawweight competition definitely will have trouble with her fluid kickboxing ability.

I love that Josefine Knutsson training out of premier gym Allstars Training Center out of Sweden. Continues to work on her all-around grappling ability and the Swedish strawweight will become future title contender and REAL Problem to deal with.

2023 is her UFC rookie year probably will face tough respected strawweight vets for remaining fights this year and entering winter of 2024.

2024/2025 I can picture Knutsson being top 15 strawweight and one day being title contender. Looking forward to her future talent development, keep my eye on the UFC prospect.
