Arman has his UFC debut on April 20th in St. Petersburg. Arman is fighting in the Co- Main Event against Islam Makhachev. Surprised to see Arman be the Co- Main Event in his UFC Debut. However Arman was selected that fight slot for a reason.

Arman Tsarukyan

  • 13-1 record
  • 14 fight win streak
  • MFP Lightweight Champion

The future is bright for this kid, Possibly a UFC Champion and a MMA Star in the making. Tune in on April 20th to watch Arman fight, UFC Debut.

Max Holloway should stay at Lightweight or Drop Down to Featherweight?

Max Holloway lost to Dustin”Diamond”Poirier in a five round fight for the interim lightweight title. Holloway’s 13 Fight winning streak comes to an end as he had his first fight at Lightweight. Holloway’s striking skills wasn’t there on Saturday as he usually dominates in the standup, Holloway demolished Aldo and Ortega with his striking. In the fight against Poirier the punches weren’t dramatically affecting Dustin. What should Max do next, Stay at 155 pounds or return to 145 pounds.

Schaub discusses on the Joe Rogan Podcast about Holloway moving up to Lightweight isn’t the best decision for him, The Poirier punches affected Holloway a lot worse than what Holloway punches did to Poirier. Holloway landed more punches but Poirier’s punches were more significant.

Max in his last fight against Poirier, We see Poirier taking it to Holloway in the whole fight. Dustin in the first round had those deadly knees and strikes, Tagging Max a lot. However Max is tough as nails and kept fighting, Max didn’t get knocked out and lasted 5 rounds in his first ever go around at Lightweight. Watched the fight a couple times, Holloway still had his beautiful masterpiece combinations but never truly hurt Poirier. Holloway at 145 is another story and maybe that’s where he should stay.

“It’s crazy, what I didn’t expect is he looked small at 155,” White told the media at the UFC 236 post-fight press conference (via MMAjunkie). “So I look forward to him going back to 145.”

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/dana-white-shares-plan-for-max-holloway-after-ufc-236/

I agree with Uncle Bobby Dana about Max looking small at 155 pounds but I disagree with Dana for Holloway moving down to 145 pounds. Max dominated the Featherweight division and now it’s time to seek a challenge in the Lightweight division. Max vs Tony Ferguson is a exciting fight to watch which was supposed to happen.

On the other hand there young hungry lions in the featherweight division such as Alexander Volkanovski, Zabit Magomedsharipov and can have Brian Ortega Part 2. Max can continue being the greatest Featherweight of all time and defeat the new top 5 UFC Featherweights.

Overall I rather see Max continue to fight at Lightweight, Interesting to see what Max does there. Max just needs to work on his strength and conditioning, Become a bigger 155 pounder. Max is the featherweight champion for a reason because he’s extremely disciplined and he’ll do whatever it takes to be the UFC Lightweight Champion.

Two Oceanians will collide, Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker

Israel Adesanya, New Zealand immigrant from Nigeria became the UFC Interim Lightweight Champion by defeating Kelvin Gastelum . Israel had the toughest and hardest challenge of his career against Gastelum, The fight was a war and Israel came on top. Israel showed his true talents against Kelvin and will have to show his talents against Robert Whittaker, UFC Middleweight Champion.

“We were going to do that fight here; I wanted that fight in the U.S.,” White told reporters, including MMA Junkie, post-fight at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. “We’re definitely not doing that fight in the U.S. That fight is going to Australia. It will be massive in Australia. I put my guys on that. That’s their homework for this week. A stadium, not an arena, A stadium in Australia.” Dana White MMA JUNKIE

https://mmajunkie.com/2019/04/ufc-israel-adesanya-vs-robert-whittaker-unifier-australia-stadium-new-zealand

Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker is going to be a PPV success. Last couple years ppv’s have been hard to sell but without a doubt this fight well sell close to a million buys. If everything goes to plan this will be one of the biggest fights in UFC history and one of the best fights ever. Casual fans will be watching this fight as well.

Predict the fight going to be scheduled in September, October or November. Hope everything goes to plan.

UFC 236 Fight of the Night Goes Too?

Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier will be FIGHT OF THE NIGHT because both fighters are stand up fighters. Both of these guys are not grapplers, Rarely see them attempting to take there opponent down. Holloway vs Poirier won’t be the bloodbath fight but more of a technical striking fight.

Max Holloway is a technical striker not a brawler like Justin Gaethje. Holloway picks his openings and takes advantage of it. Holloway in my opinion and many other MMA Analyst think Holloway is one of the best boxers in MMA today. Max Holloway just keeps pushing the pace every round and that’s why Holloway has two fight of the night bonuses. Well Deserved.

Dustin Poirier is no slouch either with NINE Fight Bonuses, When entering the Octagon you always know Dustin is putting on a show for the fans. Poirier is a killer. Steps in the Octagon and goes all in.

  • Fight of the Year vs Chang Sung Jung 2012
  • Fight of the Year vs Justin Gaetje 2018
  • Fight of the Night Five Times

Max Holloway vs Dustin Poirier will be Fight of the Night and possibly nominated for Fight of the Year!!

The Winner is…. Max Holloway. The NEW INTERIM LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION.

TJ Dillashaw has a two year suspension because of testing positive for
recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO) . Dillashaw arguably is the greatest bantamweight of all time by beating Renan Barao, and Cody Garbrandt twice, However Dillashaw is not going to beat anybody anymore. The Bantamweight Division looks better than ever and who’s going to take advantage of the vacant title?

Cody Garbrandt

Cody Garbrandt couple years ago was looked upon as one of the future stars of the UFC. Cody lost three fights in a row, Two of them were against TJ Dillashaw. Cody had a masterful performance against Dominick Cruz. Since Dillashaw has a two year suspension it be a perfect time for Cody to rise from the ashes and become the Bantamweight Champion.

Marlon Moraes before signing with the UFC was fighting for WSOF and defended the bantamweight title 5 times. Moraes lost his first fight but after that been on a 4 fight win streak. Now Moraes is looking to win the Bantamweight Title.

Aljamain Sterling vs Pedro Munhoz UFC 238

Aljamain Sterling and Pedro Munhoz are both on three fight winning streaks. Whoever wins this fight has a high chance to be the #1 Contender for the Bantamweight title. Aljamain is the dark horse for the bantamweight division, Aljamain is sneaky and at his best can beat Moraes, Dillashaw and Garbrandt. Pedro Munhoz built his fighting brand by beating Cody Garbrandt in the first round.

John Lineker

John Lineker nickname is the “Hands of Stone” and he has that nickname for the reason. Lineker has been in the UFC since 2012 , Believe Linker now is in his prime. Lineker is on a two fight winning streak and maybe Lineker can go on a impressive winning streak that leads him to a Title Shot this year or 2020. Lineker’s next fight is against Cory Sandhagen on April 27th.

Overall the Bantamweight Division is going to be fascinating to watch over the next two to three years. Who rises through the rankings to become the Bantamweight Champion. What fighter dominates the division and competes with TJ to be the greatest Bantamweight Champion ever? Dillashaw returns and fights that fighter which will be a PPV for the ages.

James Gallagher trains with Conor McGregor whose the star of the UFC and Gallagher will be the star of the UFC. James Gallagher headlined his first event at Bellator 217 in Dublin, Ireland.

“In the same way that when people hear ‘UFC’ they think of Conor McGregor, I want my name to be what people think of when they think about Mixed Martial Arts.
“I don’t want to be the biggest fighter in Ireland, I don’t want to be the biggest fish in a small pond, I want to be the big fish in the big pond, I want to be the shark. https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/other-sport/james-gallagher-aiming-become-biggest-14206569

James Gallagher is a beast, Highly praised from Conor McGregor for his fighting skills. James Gallagher signed a multi- fight deal with Bellator. Gallagher is only 22 years old who has so much potential.

James as you can see has the looks, speaks well that’s equipped with his fighting skills. Scott Coker is the Bellator Promoter and should promote Gallagher all the time. Pretty Cool Video !!

Fan Favorite Justin Gaethje Knocks Out Barboza, What’s Next?

Justin Gaethje headlines his 4th event by having a first round war with Edson Barboza. What’s next for the fan favorite, Who sells out crowds because he loves to fight.

“It doesn’t matter to me (who I fight next),” Gaethje told reporters, including MMA Junkie, post-fight at UFC on ESPN 2. “They’re going to pay me a lot of money, that’s what I’m here for. I want to be the world champion. I want to fight Khabib, I think I’m one of the biggest threats to his title and that’s my goal. Whoever I have to go through.”

https://mmajunkie.com/2019/03/justin-gaethje-im-among-biggest-threats-to-khabib-nurmagomedovs-title-reign

Khabib vs Gaethje

Justin Gaethje is an all american wrestler and a brawler. Justin has a crazy chin and a high motor. The fight with Khabib makes a lot of sense as Khabib suspension ends in September. Without a doubt be Khabib’s toughest matchup so far… Dana White would love this fight as he loves both fighters, It can be the main event for a ESPN PPV and can sell 800k- 1 million ppv buys.

Gaethje vs Iaquinta

Al Iaquinta is a beast who just beat Kevin Lee, Dominating Lee with wrestling. Raging Al is a future UFC champion and an all around fighter. Al Iaquinta lasted five rounds against Khabib under 1 day notice.

Holloway/ Poirier vs Gaethje

Max Holloway coming up to lightweight to fight Dustin Poirier in UFC 236. Max is a striking beast, One of the best fighters on the planet and is 27 years old. Dustin is the dark horse of the lightweight division and is highly capable of beating Max. However Holloway vs Gaethje would be a hell of a fight to watch, No disrespect to Dustin. Be an entertaining fight to watch .

Overall the Lightweight division is in a mess right now, Conor retiring from MMA but I doubt it, Khabib suspension and Tony dealing with mental issues. The fight that makes sense the most at this moment on April 1st, 2019 is the winner of Holloway vs Poirier against Gaethje. Gaethje deserves the fight, Always puts on a show for the fans and the title fight wouldn’t be anymore different. Max is a stand up fighter mostly and so is Dustin! Definitely worth the money to order that fight, I’m probably going to buy the ppv if that fight happens!

Ngannou vs Dos Santos Added to UFC (239)

Two Heavyweight sluggers, Francis Ngannou and Junior Dos Santos are booked in the main event. Francis recently knocked out Cain Velasquez in the first round and Junior just fought Derrick Lewis. Both fighters looking to contend for the heavyweight title. No way this fight is going the distance.

Francis is back to the Francis of old before fighting Stipe Miocic.

“I have carried my fear from the last fight to this one,” he said after losing to Lewis. It was a blunt self-assessment with an edge so serrated, it sounded like a confession. Fear? Few admit fear in the fight game unless it’s in the abstract. Never in regards to a specific fight, let alone a key moment. It was candid, vulnerable, memorable. As it result, it stuck to Ngannou, even though during the same statement, he vowed, “I won’t let everyone down again.” Francis Ngannou

https://www.mmafighting.com/2019/2/18/18229080/francis-ngannous-resurgence-is-no-fluke

UFC 239 is a stacked card already and this fight is making it even better. Heavyweight contender fight that will be a first round knockout in thirty seconds or a second round KO.

Woodley Vs Lawler 2 UFC ON (ESPN 4)

Woodley arguably the greatest welterweight of all time lost to Kamaru Usman. Woodley got dominated by Usman the ENTIRE fight. However Woodley is strong minded and is returning to fight Robbie Lawler on June 29th. Thought Woodley was going to get a rematch against Usman but guess not…

ATLANTA, GA – JULY 30: (L-R) Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley touch gloves in their welterweight championship bout during the UFC 201 event on July 30, 2016 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images)

I’m just looking to rematch and run it back, man. It’s my fifth title defense, and I feel I’m the champion and what I do for this organization, the performance may not have involved for a rematch but I think my resume does. https://www.mmafighting.com/2019/3/3/18248462/tyron-woodley-felt-flat-hypnotized-but-wants-a-rematch-with-kamaru-usman

Thought Woodley was going to get a rematch, PPV Main event against Usman but was completely wrong. However Woodley has to climb back to the top and win the Welterweight title! Woodley though has no tough task against Lawler.

“Robbie Lawler looked better than ever against Askren.” Joe Rogan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8UDc8UAB5Y

Before Woodley KO’d Lawler, Lawler was a killer. Lawler was in five round wars but came out on top!! Defended the belt multiple times, During his reign was one of the best fighters on the planet.

Robbie looks like the Robbie of old and that means the welterweight division is in trouble. Woodley vs Lawler fight is going to be fascinating to watch, Have no idea who will win. However tune in June 29th on ESPN to see who comes out on top!!

Two Nigerians Fighting on Barboza vs Gaethje Card!!

“Nzechukwu’s start in MMA was like any story should start. “It was always something I wanted to do, especially when I was back in Nigeria. I used to read newspapers and see Chuck Liddell, and see other guys like the Gracies. I was like, ‘What is this for, people fighting for money? This is something I would love to do.’” Cage Side Press.Com

Without a doubt these two men will be future champions in couple years, Becoming two other UFC Africa Champions!

Watchout for Kevin Lee “Motown Phenom”

Kevin Lee moving up to welterweight to face Rafael Dos Anjos. Lee used to be a lightweight but the cut was HORRIBLE FOR HIM.

“The weight cut, was what it was. I wasn’t going to let down the whole show, let down everybody. I was going to make weight, even if I had to cut my foot off or something,” he said. “It damn near killed me, but I had to do what I had to do. I got job to do. I’m a professional. I would come out here no matter how bad it hurts. I felt like I put my best performance on tonight, but by the third round it was just too much for me.” SB Nation

Kevin Lee is a beast, One of the best young fighters in the UFC today. Lee already competed for a UFC Title and headlined 4 main events. Lee at welterweight is very fascinating, Lee is a new addition to the welterweight division, Giving Usman, Covington, Woodley, Askren a lot of trouble.

Possible for Kevin Lee to become the UFC Welterweight champion of the world. Lee can go on a complete tear first by beating Rafael Dos Anjos and other top 5-10 welterweights. Lee is an all around fighter and has so much potential. Kevin Lee can be one of the stars of the UFC and it may start now!

Conor McGregor Fights that Make Sense?

Conor the star of the UFC, The Irish Warrior who brought his whole country with him. Conor’s title run at the featherweight division was amazing and winning the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez were incredible times. The Mayweather vs McGregor tour was very entertaining and the fight will never be forgotten in combat sports history. Conor vs Khabib was a dream fight for the ages but Conor got obliterated.

Conor net worth is 100 to 150 million dollars, Hard to continue to fighting when your rich. However if Conor is intrigued to fight again who will he fight?

Conor vs Khabib 2

Conor vs Khabib 1 had 2.4 PPV Buys which was good business for everybody. The second fight can be 3.5 PPV buys which is a lot of money for the UFC. It’s a fight to make but Conor is going to lose.

Conor vs Holloway

Conor fought Max when Max was a kid. Max is the best featherweight of all time, Both fighters are strikers. It can be a very entertaining fight and a fight for the ages. Fight that makes sense. Max moved up to lightweight to fight Dustin Poirier, Conor vs Max can be a lightweight fight.

Conor vs Nate Diaz 3

Both fights were top 10 greatest fights of all time in the UFC. Selled well PPV wise and Conor just wants fights that make him the most money. The Third Fight is what everybody wants to see, Has to happen eventually.

Conor vs Woodley

Conor and Tyron have been trash talking for a while, Since UFC 205. Woodley is one of the best welterweights of all time. Woodley can sell fights but never had a partner to sell it with. Conor fought at 170 once against Nate Diaz. Possibly be a WelterWeight fight or a catchweight fight.

Overall Conor is a star, He’s been tweeting a lot lately trying to hype up fights, See what makes the most sense to him. Love to see Conor fight once or twice and the whole world would love to see Conor return inside the Octagon.

Brady one of the top welterweight prospects in the United States and it shows with a record of 10-0, Brady fighting for one of the best MMA regional promotions in Cage Fury Fighting Championship. Brady trains with Eddie Alvarez sometimes, Brady sees Eddie as a mentor. Sean Brady trains out of Renzo Gracie Philly Gym based in Philadelphia which is Eddie’s hometown!

“Brady has spent plenty of time with Philadelphia’s own Eddie Alvarez. Not only has Brady been on the mats with the former UFC and Strikeforce champion, but Alvarez recently endorsed him on social media.” Sean Brady on MMA Fighting. Com

“I talk to Eddie probably once a week or something like that,” Brady said. “He’s just a great guy and a great mentor for Philly fighters. When I was coming up I didn’t even have any fights and everyone wanted to be Eddie or say they knew Eddie. ” Sean Brady on MMA Fighting.Com

Perfect for Sean is he built a well known brand going into the UFC, Sean like I said before was the CFFC Welterweight champion and fought once for the Legacy Fighting Alliance. CFFC is on UFC Fight Pass and LFA is on AXS TV. In other words people know who Brady is which makes Dana White’s life lot easier!

One FC, Fighters They Should Sign?

One FC killing it lately signing Eddie Alvarez, Trading for Demetrious Johnson, Signing Sage Northcutt and Vitor Belfort. One FC signed Alvarez for eight figure deal, Showing future MMA free agents the impact free agency has for fighters. Paying veteran fighters from UFC and Bellator eight figures will attract a lot of world class fighters. ONE FC being another player in the MMA promotions that can compete with UFC and Bellator in so many ways. What fighters will be perfect for ONE FC or will be the next to sign with Bellator?

“Look without getting into details, the package in general is going to be an eight-figure deal. Eight figure fight deal. A guaranteed eight-figure fight deal in total. They made me true partner, which I am happy about, and they fully committed to me and we’re fully committing back,” explained Eddie Alvarez on SB Nation

Alexander Gustaffson

Gustaffson one of the best light heavyweight fighters in the world should sign with ONE FC. Alexander has to compete with Jon Jones and deal with crazy Jon Jones who always gets in trouble. Gustaffson loss to Jones twice and lost to Cormier once. I don’t believe Gustaffson will ever be a UFC champion.

  • 18-5 record
  • Beat Glover Teixeria and Shogun Rua

Rafael Dos Anjos

Rafael Dos Anjos in 2014 and 2015 you can argue was one the best fighter on the planet. Dos Anjos was a killer couple years ago. Dos Anjos was the UFC LIGHTWEIGHT Champion, However he’s fallen off since than. Dos Anjos in a two fight losing streak. Dos Anjos in a division with young hungry lions in Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. Dos Anjos will never be a UFC champion again, He should request a release from Dana and head to ONE FC. Dos Anjos make a couple of millions of dollars.

  • Beat Pettis, Cerrone, Nate Diaz and Benson Henderson.
  • UFC Lightweight Champion

Edson Barboza

Edson Barboza is another killer, Will never be a UFC champion because the lightweight division is stacked. Besides Muay Thai fighters he’s one of the best kickers in MMA. Barboza signing with ONE FC will make him a millionaire and a ONE FC champion.

Benson Henderson

Benson Henderson fights for Bellator in the lightweight division. Benson signed a deal with Bellator leaving UFC. Henderson under Bellator he’s never one a title. Benson has a 3-3 record fighting for Bellator which I thought he would dominate there but that’s not the case. Maybe under One FC, New change of scenery he becomes the Henderson of old!! Make some money Benson and win a ONE FC lightweight title!

  • Three time defending UFC lightweight Champion
  • Beat Frankie Edgar twice!, Beat Nate Diaz, and Gilbert Melendez
  • Competed for the Bellator Welterweight and Lightweight title

Yoel Romero

Yoel Romero is just a freak of athlete, Think Romero was a roman gladiator sculpture. Yoel one of the best freestylers in the world. Yoel is 41 years old, Don’t know how many years he has left but use the time with ONE FC. Get paid Yoel. I just love his story immigrating from Cuba to the United States. Romero winning the UFC middleweight title. One FC has the perfect weight cut program where Romero instead of fighting in the middleweight division, Fights in the Light Heavyweight division is the best weight for him.

  • Beat Machida, Weidman, Souza, and Rockhold
  • Won Gold Medal 10 times as a Freestyle Wrestler
  • 16-3 record

Overall One FC is another promotion that can make an impact in the MMA world. One FC signing former UFC and Bellator champions has them compete with UFC and Bellator. Signing the fighters I just listed can have ONE FC be the second best promotion in the world. ONE FC already has talented fighters like Bibiano Fernandes, Kevin Belingnon, Martin Nguyen, Aung La Nsang, Brandon Vera, Signing these fighters can make world class title fights and attract new ONE FC fans.
